4. Pyrgos
Pyrgos is a quaint village situated around a hillside, around 7km from Fira. Take a morning stroll with your partner to the village church and light a candle. Have a coffee at the Art Gallery Cafe before heading up to the top to see the ruins of an ancient castle. There are several spots on the way up to catch views out to sea, it’s a bit of a workout but well worth it!

The lighthouse isn’t traditionally romantic but the panoramic views from its base make this a must see spot with your significant other. You can see stretches of blue sea as far as the eye can see, and it’s just breath taking!
